Behind one donation sits a fund, a request and a story to tell. Pick one link — matching, tracking or reporting — and make it auditable.

AMN-01Reconcile a week of giving
The challenge
Help a treasurer match sample donations to the correct funds and identify records that need checking.
Show in your demo
Import donations from two sources, catch a duplicate or mismatch, and produce a fund summary after a human reviews it.
Start with
Create small CSV files for cash and digital donations, plus example fund restrictions. Keep Zakat and Sadaqah labels explicit.
AMN-02Follow a request for support
The challenge
Give a welfare team a clear way to receive a request, assign a person to review it and follow up.
Show in your demo
Move one fictional request from receipt to human review and follow-up. Demonstrate permissions and a record of changes.
Start with
Use a fictional application and a simple review process. Ask a welfare practitioner which handover needs improvement.
AMN-03Show what an appeal achieved
The challenge
Turn a small set of spending and activity records into an understandable update for donors and trustees.
Show in your demo
Trace one reported result back to its evidence, distinguish spending from outcomes, and hide beneficiary identities.
Start with
Create a fictional appeal budget, spending records and outcome notes. Label estimates and gaps in the evidence.
03 / What to demonstrate
Make the improvement visible.
Your demo should show a working journey, who it helps and the evidence behind your decisions. For this track, useful evidence includes:
- Money or a support request has a clear, reviewable history.
- Staff can find and resolve missing or conflicting information.
- Useful reporting protects the identity of people receiving help.
These are examples of evidence, not extra scoring categories. Every entry uses the same published judging criteria.
Use simulated payments and fictional cases. Keep decisions about eligibility, allocation and religious requirements with qualified people. Separate donor-facing reports from confidential case information.
04 / Prepare & stay informed
Start with people and a small dataset.
Talk to someone who does the task, map the current steps and agree what improvement would matter. If you cannot speak to a practitioner, state your assumptions and explain how you would test them.
The examples above suggest material you can prepare yourself. Use fictional records, public information or material you have permission to use. Event datasets, named mentors and partner tools are still to be confirmed.
